How to Start and Run Your Own Mastermind Group

Have you ever thought about starting your own mastermind group? There are both paid and free mastermind groups out there, and I’ve belonged to both.  The one I find the most value in is the peer-run (free) mastermind I’m in with 3 other friends/colleagues.

I’ve been in a mastermind for over 4 years with my friends Karen Pattock and Lori Kennedy (Alicia Streger joined us about a year ago), and since it’s been one of the best things we’ve done for our businesses, we wanted to give you an inside look into how we do it.

We’re sharing a recording of an episode we did on Lori Kennedy’s podcast (The Business of Becoming Podcast) where we give a behind-the-scenes look at how mastermind programs work, how we run ours and how to structure your own mastermind if you’re thinking about starting one.

In this episode, we talk about…

  • Reasons to establish a mastermind group
  • The structure (outline) of our mastermind calls
  • Suggestions for what to discuss in a mastermind group
  • The differences between peer-run and paid mastermind groups
  • Tips for creating a successful peer-run mastermind group
  • Level of commitment required for a successful mastermind group

Happy listening!
